“Pat”

Absolutely adored this portrait! What a fabulous commission, this portrait was commissioned for a giveaway hosted over on the Equine Persuits facebook page so please check them out. This was the winning portrait from many beautiful entries. Please let me know what you think, easily a firm favourite of mine

“Cleaning Wounds”

When I photographed the lion in this painting so many years ago now I wasn’t expecting it to turn into such an emotional piece for me, its been quite a difficult project for so many reasons some personal and some art related. But the feedback from the work in progress photos over on my instagram have been especially inspiring and I’m so glad he’s finished. I have absolutely loved painting these big cats and I can’t wait to start my next piece.

“Willow”

Finished the portrait of this lovely lady, she was such a fabulous poser which made photographing her a breeze! Photographing the artwork was actually a lot harder… Anyway I really hope you like this portrait. The rest of the course on how to draw her will be rolled out slowly over the next week or so, I’m hoping it’ll give you all time to give it ago and give me time to answer any questions!

“Doris”

Sadly no longer with us “Doris” was a huge pleasure to paint, a gorgeous horse. Unfortunately we didn’t have any clear photos of her neck so I had to mix and match a few photos to get the result I wanted. Honestly a real pleasure painting this horse another one I’ll miss having on my drawing board but I know her owner is happy to have her home ☺️💛

“Nuno”

Quite possibly the sweetest commission I’ve had, this lovely pup is now a dog but his owner wanted a portrait of him as a puppy. Border collie’s being “my breed” its definitely a commission I was more than excited to do☺️💛

“Stella”

A surprise commission for a client of mine, this was such a nice portrait to do I was so excited to see what her owner would think. This portrait was commissioned for Lola’s owner so I decided to try and match their portraits with a similar background and I think the colours and lighting really suits them both. Such a pleasure painting these pups, I love commissions like this 💛

“Lola”

Sadly no longer with us, but I adored painting this gorgeous pup named Lola. The colours in her picture where so inspiring so I thought I’d try a different style of background for her to compliment her coat. Please let me know what you think 💛
