My name is Shannagh-Leigh Hartshorn and I thought I would share a little about me. I graduated from Edge Hill University 2017 and have been working for myself ever since. However I started to work for myself long before that so I am far from inexperienced in my chosen field.

I am currently based in Manchester, England. Specialising in pet and equine portraiture. I love to bring characters to life in  paintings. I work in a variety of different mediums but I currently welcome commissions in acrylic & water soluble coloured pencil.

Priding myself in my attention to detail, I create realistic paintings with a painterly feel, be it the brush strokes used or a slightly richer colour in my artwork. People say I capture their animals personality in my paintings as well as their spirit through the eyes.

I take commissions worldwide, international shipping is always available. I will always send updates so you can see your painting come to life, all commissions are sent via tracked delivery methods so you can follow the progress of its journey directly to your doorstep.

Customers can make their commissions as personal as they like, request any medium or size the choice really is yours. The ones I advertise are merely posted as a guide or an option. You can also order prints should you wish to perhaps share your paintings with friends or loved ones.
